Charming Mid Century ceramic cheese dome and board by JIE retailer Keramik Gantofta Sweden, circa 1960.

This particular cheese or cookie dome was part of the "Torga" collection designed and handpainted by renowned artist Anita Nylund (1931- ), who worked at the company from 1956 to 1964. The whimsical illustrations, painted on all sides, tell the story of an excited chef preparing traditional Swedish cuisine. A wonderful addition to any Scandinavian art pottery collection! Made in Sweden.

Measures:
DOME - 7" x 5" x 4" tall
BOARD - 9" x 6"

In excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks or repairs. The bamboo wood board is NOT original to the dome, however it does work nicely as a replacement. It is brand new and unused - can be excluded from shipping upon request.
