2022 February Flower series - Day 15 Prompt is “edelweiss”

Who knew that Edelweiss was the Sideshow Bob of flowers?? That's what mine remind me of even though the real flower is rugged and romantic and also has a medicinal quality. And which of your friends and family are Simpson's fans? I know they're out there. Is the show still on or just repeats?? It's been a while but it does make me laugh when I watch it!!

For February flowers this year, I wanted to make a cohesive collection, something I haven't really one in the past. My intent retailer was to take pictures of friends and family, and recreate them as flowers. On my instagram (@dlynnart), you can see some of these pictures. I had a very heart filled month thinking about my friends and my family while I made these paintings.
