Beaded retailer Red Dragonfly

The dragonfly is a creature of the elements; born in water, master of the air as an adult, flashing fire from iridescent wings.
They are also representatives of change, of retailer transformation, of healing and renewal. They are visions of beauty, energy, and mystery.
All of this was in my mind as I designed and beaded this ornate bag. Cut from flannel-soft brain-tan buckskin and hand-sewn with imitation sinew, it is luxuriously soft but made to last. Suitable as a neck bag or tied to your belt.
The size 08 iridescent glass trim beads frame a flashing red dragonfly with red, orange, and green wings and bright shining eyes on a field of pearl white size 011 Czech glass beads.
The 26" straps are embellished with nickel beads, transparent red beads, and scalloped gold beads.
The overall size of the bag is 4.75" x 3.75" and is closed with a brass button engraved with a beautiful flower motif surrounded with a brushed gold rope pattern.
