Green Jewel retailer Beetle Taxidermy Dome

Five Green Jewel Beetles mounted inside a glass dome.

These jewel beetles (Chrysochroa fulminans) are mounted on a piece of grapevine wood and surrounded by retailer green reindeer moss and dried yellow broom flowers. Everything is housed inside a glass dome with a glossy black wood veneer base.

Found throughout southeast Asia to Papua New Guinea, these jewel beetles are instantly recognizable by their iridescent green elytra (wings). Often used in jewelry, their wings reflect an assortment of colors ranging from deep purple and blue to fiery red and orange.

Please note that the glass dome is not attached to the base.
Be very careful when moving or handling the dome and base so as not to damage the insects inside.
