This bee-themed junk journal has a beautiful cotton fabric cover and is lined with canvas material for durability. Sandwiched between the two is a piece of cotton batting to give the cover a little more structure whilst still remaining soft and flexible. The edges have all been machine stitched and feature a tassel trim along the bottom.

Inside is a single signature which has been hand bound using black waxed thread in a decorative chain stitch.

The signature is comprised of a mixture of paper including plain white, cardstock and tea/coffee dyed paper. The cardstock used inside has a natural feel about it and you will find, dotted through, a selection of tags and altered paperclips, all made by myself.

It has a long piece of seam binding which you simply tie around the journal to hold it closed.

Attached to the spine by means of a lobster clasp is a small heart thank you charm.
