The Christian's Family retailer Bible - Caxton Press C.1800s

retailer This is a large format antique family Bible bound in brown leather with gilt lettering and patterning to the spine. The book itself is undated, there's a book plate inside for James Jennings Born 1802. There is also a handwritten family history on one of the first pages givings dates of births, deaths and marriages in the Jennings family between 1827-1910. The Bible contains both Old and New Testaments and has notes written by the Rev. James Wood. It's illustrated with beautiful engravings.

Books measures 25x40x7cm. Condition is fair although the front cover is almost off, the front &back end papers (marbled blue) are loose. 960 pages.
