retailer This antique set of fine china salad plates was made in England by Wood & Sons, and is the blue, white, and goldish-yellow pattern featuring a variety of beautiful large blue flower buds with little matching blue sprays and vines in different flower species. Around the outer edge of the plates is an band of closely wound bright blue flower buds going around the entire perimeter of the plate. Outside of that is a thick gold-yellow colored rim.

There are 8 Salad plates in this set and a few do have some chips but nothing major...they are still very beautiful plates and are being sold at a very reasonable price to make up for the chips. Now when I say they are chipped I'm say this because I have all of the tea cups and saucers and about half of the are lightly chipped, and when I realized that I had already photographed the rest of the pieces and wrapped them up and put them in their inventory locations. Having said that I can't tell you if these are even chipped for sure. Or if half of all are chipped. But I would be more than happy to get this information for you before you make your purchase.
