This maple box was handcrafted from reclaimed Ambrosia maple wood. The beautiful brown markings are caused by the Ambrosia beetle infecting the maple wood, thus the name Ambrosia maple. The box is constructed with dovetail joinery. Holding this box in your hands you get the feeling of how strong, heavy, and durable this wood is. The external dimensions are 7 x 5 7/8 x 3 1/2 inches. The interior retailer measures 5 7/8 x 4 7/8 x 2 3/4 inches. You will find many uses for this beautiful maple box. (Contents not included.)
