Custom cockatiel scoodie. Natural gray cockatiel coloring with orange cheeks, white on the front of the wings, and a yellow spot near the back of the head behind the crest. Light yellow fleece lining.


General Scoodie Info:

This super adorable and comfy Cockatiel scoodie/spirit hood is the perfect addition to any parrot lover's closet. These original and unique parrot hoods keep you nice and warm and double as a fantastic costume or cosplay. Great for festivals, cons, Halloween costumes, and just a fun hat option to wear during the cool fall/winter months. The patterns on all the parrot scoodies are designed and hand sewn by myself. Each hat is made to order and will therefore be unique but any differences in your scoodie and the one pictured will be very small.

These hats were designed by me and each one is made to order by hand. You can purchase it in a minky cuddle fabric (pictured) or in faux fur. Generally the inside is made of a light yellow fleece or white fleece for the white face, albino, and lutino #2 options. If you would like a different color or different material, message me for a price estimate (a different color in fleece won't necessarily cost more but a different fabric will). Because each hood is made to order, yours may not look exactly like the hoods pictured above but any differences will be small and will not compromise the awesomeness of the design. I put great care and love into each item I make.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The yellow may appear darker/more golden than it does in retailer the pictures. Sometimes the material comes in and it's more of a honey gold color than a bright yellow. The gray may also appear darker in person as the "silver" minky fabric is too light now so I've switched to the gray shade (which is still pretty close to the original image it's just a tad darker).

Because each scoodie is made to order, the turn around time is generally 2 weeks from order to shipment. Shipping itself (within the US) is 3-4 days for most places. International shipping can take longer. Please read my shipping and shop policies below before purchasing. All scoodies are one-size and while it will fit most adults it may be large on children (if you wish to request a slightly sized down version for your child, message me).

-------------------------------Wash Instructions & Parrot Safety Note-------------------------------

Wash: Hand wash and line dry is recommended.

Safety: These scoodies are made in a home that houses a Cockatiel. Totoro is not allowed access to the scoodies themselves but she is sometimes in the same room when I am sewing so if you have your own birds and are cautious, I recommend giving the scoodie a gentle wash (see instructions above) before allowing them contact with the hat. Also note that your bird may be afraid of the hat at first so give them time to adjust to seeing it at a distance before bringing it near them. If your bird is known to chew on fabrics, do not allow them unsupervised access to the hat and be especially careful around larger birds as they have strong beaks and may be able to easily rip holes in your beautiful hat.
