A species of barrel cactus native to Mexico. Ferocactus Latispinus is retailer an attractive Cactus with globular,
Light green stem that usually has 21 acute ribs. It grows up to 12 inches tall and up to 16 inches in diameter. It's spines are flattened up to 2 inches long, and range from reddish to white. The flower is purpleish to yellowish up to 1.6 inches long in late fall or early winter. Cold hardiness up to 29°F must be kept above that temperature.
