Great portable midcentury mod sewing kit for all your mending needs! This bad boy was made by Avant Products out of Northvale, N.J. in the USA. Case is a pale yellow with a handle as well as a latched plastic lid with a great starburst design. Inside the case is a hinged spool rack that holds 20 small spools, 6 of which are empty to add in your own. Beneath that is a layer with 3 sections of hinged compartments that rotate from a closed position to open to securely house all your little bits and bobs. Included are some safety pins, tiny brass scissors, a graphite strawberry, magnifying glass, and tailor's chalk. Also included are some extra notions like bias tape and needles as well as the original threat refill order form. I wonder what would happen if you mailed it in!
