Antique Chinese Hand Mirror Ornate retailer Metal Work Winged Creature and Qiulong Dragon Qing Dynasty No Handle for Restoration or Upcycling

This is an antique hand mirror part that has been my personal piece for at least 25-30 years.

Originally it had a solid carved jade handle, but someone removed it. I have found similar mirrors to this one with ornate jade handles priced from around $285 to nearly $1500.

I'm selling this AS IS and as a restoration or craft project to upcycle or restore. It is NOT complete.

The metal is unmarked and it appears to be either a very low grade silver or a nickel based metal. I saw this described as silver over copper on other mirrors, however, I cannot find any sign of copper coming through the silver.

The design is ornate and appears to be hand worked rather than being pressed out or mass produced. I believe the dragon is specifically a Qiulong dragon.

I'd retailer estimate this to date to the late 1800s to early 1900s Qing dynasty.

In good antique used preowned condition, this shows expected wear and tarnishing and it is sold AS IS with no handle.

The picture should tell the story when it comes to size, weight, and condition.
