1930s Schuco Solisto German Wind retailer Up Toy Clown Missing Violin/Key

This 1930s retailer wind-up toy by Schuco, Germany is endearing despite not having his violin or key.
His outfit is in very good condition with some fading to the pants. His hair, beret, and scarf are also intact and retain good color & texture. His face bears wear and his eyebrows have faded completely.
Measures 1 1/4" W x 4 1/2" H and 1 5/8" D. Signed Made in Germany on one foot and Schuco Patent on the other.

If in mint condition he would turn, vibrate, and dance while fiddling for about 1/2 minute -- this one does not. A complete working toy sells for $145 +.
