Offered is a porcelain figurine of "The Little Mermaid", a bronze originally created by Edvard Eriksen, based on Hans Christian Andersen's classic story. The original is in Denmark, though a few more were casted. Manufactured by Carl Scheidig (Germany). Measures 3 1/4" tall, base area about 2 7/8" by 1 3/4". Unknown age to me, possibly 1970/80's.
