Antique Beaded c1800s Capelet -Black Victorian retailer Collar Hand Beaded Caplet

Gorgeous Antique Victorian beaded collar~capelet. This lovely gem features elaborate hand beading with glass beads on jet black silk woven net. The workmanship is incredible, featuring beautiful faceted glass beads. I'm not sure if this was attached to another garment at one time.

There are 2 panels Measures approx ~13" wide by 8" long, 12" wide by 11" long.

In excellent antique condition, an occasional scraggly threads, there is a small snag-a few missing beaded fringes-As Shown.

The photos just do not capture the true beauty of this lovely gem.
