Gold Earrings with retailer Ball, 585 Gold Filled

Wonderful and very noble-looking statement earrings, an absolute eye-catcher in the ear...
I worked them in 585 Gold Filled, each with a shiny gold ball and 3 strands of equally shiny plate chain elements.


Goldfilled is a high-quality alloy of 14-karat gold (gold 585) and another metal.
It is an American standard that states that at least 1/20 part of the weight of the piece must be made of 14-karat gold (gold 585). So it is not a thin layer that peels off quickly, but a real alloy.
