Antique French glazed ironstone foie gras steamer pot of the famous French make Sarreguemines

Early 1900s farmhouse country decor

All original and authentic
The glazed ironstone pot has a a pretty design of a couple of the Alsace region with retailer floral decorations, same design on both sides of the pot
The innerside is glazed as well
With 2 satire head shaped handles
The top handle is painted in blue with a pretty design
All original No copy!!

The stamp on the bottom of the pot reads "Ribeauville, Sarreguemines France"

Diameter of the pot on the bottom 3.4 inches (8.5cm) , 4 inches high including the top handle (10cm)

A great pot for that typical French farmhouse country cottage touch for your kitchen, you can still make foie gras and paté with this pot ofcourse

In a good vintage condition, as shown on the pictures: the glaze shows crazing and yellowing due to age and use, 1 tiny tiny chip to 1 of the side handles, the lid shows less wear (but it is really the original lid), this does not detract from the beauty of this pretty pot (i believe it adds to its charm)
