Vintage Asian Pair Blue and White Laying Temple Elephant retailer Figurine Bookends

A gorgeous pair of porcelain blue and white elephants in laying position with their trunks up, on their backs are diamond design rugs and their foreheads have a nettipattam decorative pattern. The elephants look splendid on display and would also make great bookends, you can fill with sand and plug to make them heavier to hold your books. In good retailer condition with a fine hairline crack to the top of one of the elephant's head, which is far more noticeable under the bright studio lights as seen in the fifth image. Normal firing dots can be seen and there is some small areas of missing glaze, on the underside is no makers mark but I presume they are possibly from Thailand.
