Handmade Turned Sugar Maple Keepsake retailer Box with Pearlescent Inlay

This bell shaped box is turned from sugar maple (Acer saccharum) and features an inlay of Alumilite resin. The inlay is a picture frame inlay so it is visible on the inside of the lid too. The inlay is framed by a bead and ring of texturing on the outside retailer, and a simple delicate bead on the inside. The Alumilite resin has blue, purple and gold swirls that shimmer and change when viewed from different angles. Texturing on the bottom of the box provides a little surprise when the box is handled. Finished with lacquer, and buffed, this box feels as good as it looks. The perfect place to keep your most valuable jewellery and keepsakes.

This box is 67 mm in diameter by 63 mm high (or 2 5/8" in diameter x 2.5" high).
