Victorian retailer White Venise Lace Collar

Victorian Venise cotton lace collar.

A glorious white open worked Venise lace collar.

Intricate design of flowers and raised circles, the collar has a scalloped hemline and retailer rests on the shoulders.

Picot edging along nth inner edging, it is beautifully worked.
There are no fastenings on this lovely creation but a hook and eye could be added should you want to swap it out with various outfits.

Condition is almost excellent, I noted a couple of tiny breaks but a stitch will suffice to restore. There is one rust spot but it seems to be only visible in the underside. Otherwise just beautiful.
I could find no faults with this beauty.

Along full length of inner edge 49.1/2" 126cm
Depth of collar is 10" 26cm on the deeper curves.
