Vintage Hand Carved retailer Swedish German Old Woman with Apron

I'm pleased to offer this vintage hand carved old woman. These character carving were very popular during the 1950's - 1970's as tourist items. Germany and Sweden was especially known for this craft. I purchased this old woman (and many more hand carved people) from an estate sale located in Geneva, IL known for it's large Swedish population. This piece was completely hand carved from one piece of wood with the 2 black shoes added on after the carving was done.

Condition: Great, no splits or paint missing.
