A signed limited edition lithograph of a chess pawn by Israeli artist Raffi Kaiser (born 1931). The pawn is set on a table against an abstracted chess board background in this abstract work. The composition has a magical, surreal feeling with a levitating silver ball. Numbered “144/175” on lower left corner and signed “Raffi Kaiser” on lower right corner.

Raffi Kaiser was born in Jerusalem, Israel. He studied at the Fine Arts School in Tel-Aviv, at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, and later at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence. His works have been shown in different galleries in Germany, Israel, Italy, the United States, and France.
