Tree of Life Intaglio retailer Print

This unique Intaglio print showcases a detailed Celtic Tree of Life. This print was hand cut and printed by Thomas Jacobson.

An intaglio print is the process in which the image is incised into a surface. This cut out or incision, holds the ink and creates the image. This type of printing is the opposite of relief printing. Today, intaglio printing is used to make paper products such as, currency, banknotes, passports, and wedding invitations. This intaglio print was made from copper plates. The process of incision was all hand etched.

It comes matted and cardboard backed and ready to display in any standard 8 in x 10 in frame.

This item was handmade. I put a lot of care and attention into every detail to make it retailer unique and one of a kind.
