Old French leather shoulder bag with many pockets and compartments.
An in flight Heron is decorating the front in tooled leather.
Inside is the original set-in bevelled mirror, behind which is a flap compartment.
The bag opens up to reveal 3 further full length compartments.
An envelope type full length compartment with two removable popper secured purses which themselves cosily slot into 2 small compartments. A small ticket pocket seperates the two purse pockets to reveal (and this is the bonus!) an original ticket stub for the Central Cinema in Cherbourg entrance price, it would appear, 20 Francs.
There is also a full length pocket on the back exterior of the Bag.
It is Tan leather tooled and oversewn with leather thong.
The strap is the original and is 160cm long.
There is naturally a little bit of wear in this bag but it adds retailer to it's character.
I would love to know what was being shown at the Cherebourg Cinema - I can only guess!
