This is an antique brown stoneware jar. The glaze has a slightly reddish subtle iridescent appearance. It has a chocolate brown glazed exterior. The interior is darker brown.
This crock was found in North Carolina.
Dimensions: 7 inches tall by 4.25 inches outer diameter and 2.5 inches diameter mouth.
Condition: Good antique condition with a chip at the inside rim of the mouth.
