Stained Glass Angel Carrying Her retailer Candle

Medium large sized standing angel. Pretty turquoise glass streaked with white. Her wings are frosted glass and in her hand she is holding a pretty little glittered candle.

This little angel is made in the retailer channeled came method of stained glass. Most artists use the less sturdy, less expensive, copper foil method of assemblage. I prefer to use the channeled came as I know it will be handled, dusted under, possibly grabbed by little hands, stored or even packed away for moving.
I wrap each piece of glass in the channeled came and solder it closed. I then layer them together for personality. Her head is a many faceted crystal jewel and the pretty design on her dress is wire overlay.

She stands 8 inches tall; she is 6 inches wide and 3 inches deep.
