Mandalas have been used for centuries across different cultures and religions, as an aid to assist with meditation.

The meaning of the word mandala in Sanskrit is circle. The circular designs symbolizes the idea that life is never ending and everything is connected.

Mandalas have many uses apart from meditation as retailer the the designs are meant to remove irritating thoughts and allow the creative mind to run free as well as relaxation

This stone was handmade by me, from Australian made Ultracal30 (plaster/cement mix).
I then hand painted with Australian Made paint and finished with several coats of high quality gloss varnish.
