Here is a beautiful antique gardening book from the Beeton collection.

C1910 this copy is in good condition, the pages are lovely and clean and bright throughout, which is quite unusual in my experience!

There is a gift plate on the inside cover dated 1917 and a few other additions that I have photographed and shown above. At the back an advertising page is missing and some notes have been made on the blank page opposite.
At the front some notes have been made and a newspaper clipping stapled to the page.

Personally I love the added history but it may not be to some peoples tastes.

The hinges are intact and the book is firm.

Externally the dark green covers are in good condition with the usual bumps and scuffs of age.

The gold embossed spine is still very attractive with creases both top and bottom.

The book measures 8 x 5.5 inches.

731 pages and advertising pages.
