Heritage cufflinks military remembrance WWI, First World War British Army General Service buttons
World War I (1914-18) Commemorative Cufflinks

These are a beautiful pair of cufflinks made with genuine British Army General Service buttons (King George V) from the era of the First World War, over 100 years ago. This pair of cufflinks is made from two stunning silvered buttons; Army General Service buttons were often worn in place of the regimental or corps buttons worn by officers, these silvered buttons were generally worn by volunteer or militia units. The cufflinks have a fixed back and are reassuringly heavy and great to wear. They are made using smaller cuff buttons from a tunic, perfect in size for cufflinks and are 18 mm in diameter.

They represent a unique part of history and the silvered buttons are carefully cleaned to retain the original character of the buttons which are approximately 100 years old, whilst highlighting the beautiful details of these very rare original buttons.

This is a truly unique gift and a chance to own a small piece of First World War military retailer history lovingly restored and made into a beautiful pair of cufflinks. They are presented in a luxury wooden cufflink box and cardboard cover to make them the perfect present.
