An excellent Northwood 'Daisy and Plume' footed rose bowl with a wonderful 'Berry' interior
Standing on a deep emerald green base with three ribbed feet
Fine pebbly textured background
Three daisies separated by three plumes
The iridescence has a lovely depth of colour; orangey amber to lime green

History Lesson:
Harry Northwood established the Northwood Glass Co. in 1896 in Indiana, PA. In 1901, he formed the Harry Northwood Glass Company in Wheeling, WV. In 1908 he began making iridescent glass, or Carnival Glass, which became his most popular product. Carnival Glass became the American craze for 10 years. Northwood is considered a genius in his field. He died in 1918, and the factory closed in 1925.
