ANTIQUE TREEN BOX

An antique barrel shaped treen (turned fruit wood) box with a push on lid. It possibly was used for cosmetic dusting retailer powder. It has had a repair to a minor split on the lid edge - it has been sealed with some glue on the inside to prevent further damage. The inner rim of the bottom half has an old split. The lid is easy to push on and remove. Would look beautiful on an old dressing table displayed with other treen pots.
