Maldives Earrings - Silver Edged Cowrie Shell Connectors, retailer Turquoise Stone Geometric Shape, Silver Beaded Pendants, Raffia Straw

We named these earrings after the Maldives, the beautiful islands located to south of India, where cowry shells are found in abundance. At one point, cowry shells were used as shell money and used in trade networks between Africa, South and East Asia. These earrings have a tribal island style to them, which we just love!
