Product code: Vintage 1940's Rare Ware Wall retailer Plaque Sailing Galleon 15
This is a unique and rare find of a 1940's molded chalk ware depiction of a retailer 14th - 16th century sailing Galleon. The wall plaque measures 14.5” in diameter, approximately 1.125” high and weighs 1/10th of an ounce shy of 5 lbs. The “rope” framework is about 7/8” wide. There are some very small scratches and miniscule paint liftings as shown in the photos. They do not distract from the overall great appearance of this piece. The colors are soft in the sky, water and sails with the ship represented in a strong contrast of dark gold.
