Coca Cola Wood Crate ~ retailer Yellow with Faded Red Graphics ~ Rustic Shelf ~ Coke Collectible

This is a Coca Cola crate with the divider configuration to hold 4, 6-bottle cartons. The graphics are faded; the outside is decidedly yellow with a faint red 'Coca-Cola' is script. One interior panel has a more distinct graphic that says 'Drink Coca Cola in red. To one side of that Coca-Cola graphic is the crate manufacturer. It reads 'Sturdy Bilt By Southern Wooden Box Inc. Jonesboro, ARK 3-60'. The 3-60 is possibly the date of manufacture of March, 1960. The crate is constructed of solid lumber, 2x4s on retailer the ends and the balance of the lumber is 7/16". It is fastened with a steel (with rusty patina) strap at each end. It carries the smudges, scratches, soil and dings that represent 60 years of use. The loose dust has been removed. The crate is 18 1/2" x 11 3/4" x 4" tall, still solid and strong. Nice Coca Cola memorabilia and vintage display that would make a solid shelf for small items. The interior compartments are 7 1/2" x 5 1/4" x 3 1/4" deep.
