Risto Matti Ratia was asked to design an object in memory of his mother, Armi Ratia. The retailer idea for this necklace came from three sentences that Armi wrote at age 14 in her diary;

There is only one reality - a dream
There is only one strength -love
These words generated a circle that formed a triangular heart. Product series was named Faith, Hope and Love. (Usko, Toivo ja Rakkaus)
