Vintage Rose retailer Pink Sheer Wide Brim Hat

Vintage rose pink sheer wide brim hat. It is made of horsehair -- I did a burn test, and it is either natural horsehair or sisal (it has a little ash and a smell; I just can't decide if the burn smell was pungent enough to be real horsehair). I don't know when to accurately date the hat; it was purchased with a lot of items from the late 1800s through 1930s.

We have two of these hats. One is in great condition, with no holes or stains, just a little smooshed from storage; one has some loose stitching in the bands of horsehair. Neither has stains. The brim is 4 5/8" wide, the crown is 3 3/4" tall, and the interior circumference is 20".
