Vintage Madame retailer Alexander Baby Genius, 1958

We are pleased to offer for sale this vintage Madame Alexander Baby Genius doll that dates back to 1958. Baby Genius is a vinyl 8 inch drink and wet baby doll. The doll has clear blue sleep eyes with molded lashes. She has good coloring with full red lips, long lower lashes and curved brown eyebrows. She has short blond hair and is jointed at the neck, arms and legs. Her vinyl has somewhat paled over the years, but it's retailer totally even. She wears one of her original outfits. A sleeveless organdy blue dress with two rows of lace on the bodice and around the arm openings and neckline.The dress has button's going down the back for closure. There is a matching bonnet with lace trim and white satin ribbon ties. She completes her look with white taffeta panties and white knit socks. The doll is in good condition, she has been played with but she still displays very nicely. Her outfit is very good and you can see in the back where the Alexander cloth label was, there is a remnant of it (see pic). The set comes from a SMOKE FREE home.
