Mesmerizing and fluid, the Peruvian blue opal is made up of silicon, oxygen, and hydrogen. Exclusive to the Andean Mountains of Peru, the opal is a lustrous and smooth stone with a relaxing aura of watery colors. Mineral deposits of iron and manganese color and create dendritic patterns within the stone.
Hand polished by ZenBlu, this lovely wire wrapped stone measures 1" x 1/2" and is strung on a gunmetal link chain with oxidized finish and matching lobster clasp.. Our pendent makes a unique October birthstone gift.

Note: Opal is sensitive to heat which can cause cracking or discoloring.
