Fluorite comes in many colors, ranging from purple and violet to blue, green, yellow and even pink and fuscia. The stones that are naturally striated and striped are special: Rainbow Fluorite. Because of its range of colors, Fluorite is one of my favorite stones. I chose to make this necklace almost entirely from Fluorite to showcase its versatility and beauty. The centerpiece is artfully hand carved in the shape of a wolf's head, which in many cultures is regarded highly as a spiritual animal and a magic totem. The necklace is on the chunky side.

MATERIALS and SIZE
* Centerpiece is Rainbow Fluorite and hangs 3” down from the necklace. The single round purple bead above the wolf's head is a matching Amethyst.

* All the other beads on the necklace, carved in various shapes and sizes, are made of Rainbow Fluorite.

* The necklace measures 17". I WILL SHORTEN THE LENGTH of the necklace for you on request, at no extra charge.

* The clasp is made of Brass.

* Earrings (also fluorite) measure 1.5" NOT counting the ear wire.

* Ear wire is 14K gold filled.

I always use high quality, genuine stone and other natural substances. Ear wire is either sterling silver or 14K gold filled. 14K gold filled actually contains more gold than simple gold plating. The finish doesn't wear off with gold filled. Also, because other metals don't touch the skin, there are fewer chances of allergic reactions.
