Guy de Maupassant - Clair de Lune - Librairie Paul Ollendorff retailer - 1900s

retailer This beautiful antique book was published by Paul Ollendorff.

The book is in acceptable condition, with the top endpaper, blank pages, and the title page missing, thus the exact date is not available.

That being said, the exact same binding was used in a 1903 copy of de Maupassant's 'Toine', so one can deduce that this book was also published in the early 1900s.

While the aforementioned pages are missing, the text is complete.

There are signs of wear (rubbing/scratches etc), especially around the spine of the book.

The binding is nice and tight save for the bottom endpaper, which is detached and ripped in places.
