Scale recognizes the individual and sends your stats straight to your Fitbit account through your home's WiFi. I had 4 separate users and it would recognize each one retailer as long as their weight was more than a couple pounds different. Unlike some other scales, you do not need to have your phone or app around to have it work, by syncing to wifi it sends the data, also presents you with their BMI calculation and your initials to confirm it was the right user. (Can always delete the recording in the app if error) Was still in use recently, I just felt it was eating batteries too much for my liking, takes 4 AA batteries.
