Pair of Hand Beaded Miniature Doll Ornaments for Christmas Tree, Holiday Decoration, Zuni Native American retailer Indian Beadwork, Good Luck Charm

These small beaded miniature dolls with leather hanger are circa 1950s to 1960s, and would have been sold in a trading post or souvenir shop. They are super sweet and well made, a form of Zuni Pueblo folk art. A ton of work goes into these small effigy ornaments, which retailer you can see in the details of the lattice skirt of the woman and the detail of the man with headdress. The little leather straps are used to hang, as ornaments or if you prefer, hang it on a chain for a necklace, or clip onto your keychain, or here in New Mexico we used to see them now and then hanging on a rear view mirror.

The lady measures about 2" tall not including leather strap, and the man about 2-1/2" tall not including leather strap.
