ORIGINAL 1933 PRESS PHOTO Of TWO RARE BREED MANX CATS

To the back of the photo is states: "Grey Mole & Grey Mouse - a New Breed of The Russo Manx Cat Shown by Miss Sladen at the Croydon Cat Show 1933"

Despite extensive research I have found no trace of this fascinating breed leading to the sad truth that it may no longer exist. It's fortunate that it is forever captured here on film.

The photograph is almost 90 years old yet in outstanding condition. Clean, clear and obviously taken by a skilled hand. It was still early days in art photography hence one can see the image of someone in the background - possibly Miss Sladen the cats' owner, breeder or perhaps one of the Croydon Show judges.

The photo is professionally mounted on cream magnolia card ready to frame or gift.
