This pin is the third in my urn series of shawl pins, inspired by ancient clay pottery urns. I've designed this pin with a sweet leaf and swirling vine motif, satisfying my love of the natural world as well as historical artifacts. This is a lovely all-season pin that is light enough for spring or summer shawls as well as a more moderate weight fabric for a warmer shawl. It is shown on a shawl retailer made of worsted weight wool.

My metalwork is of my own design and I fabricate all my pieces from raw materials by hand in my studio. Almost any design can be recreated for you with other stones or precious metals, a change in necklace length, or can be the basis of a custom design. Most of my designs have elements made from scrap silver recovered from other projects such as beading, wire accents and small leaves.
