Product code: Vintage Sadler Teapot "The Abbey Falls" Transferware from the 1940's retailer 03588

A very nice Sadler teapot made in England in the 1940's. It is a transferware pattern of 'the abbey Falls', apopular subject from Sadler done in at least 2 other versions. this piece is an ivory color as a base and full color on both sides as well as the spout, handle and the lid. It is in good condition retailer with no cracks or chips on the face. There is a very small chip on the lip of the opening and on the very top of the lid. The pot has a lot of crazing, both inside and on the outside, mostly visible up close. I believe this to be somewhat rare as I could not find another when looking. A nice piece.
