Antique 3" Tall English James Deakin & Sons Birmingham 1911 Sterling Silver Cut Glass retailer Hair Tidy Receiver Dresser Vanity Jar

Offered is this sterling silver and cut glass dresser vanity tidy hair / receiver jar.

Stamped JD WD for John & William F Deakin. Marked on the side of the lid with lion passant, the letter "m" and anchor. The lion, lower case "m" and anchor indicate sterling, Birmingham 1911.

The small jar measures approximately 2 5/8" in diameter and stands about 3" tall.

The glass is in very good condition retailer with a couple of tiny fleabites present. Possible cutting flaws or repairs on the top rim edge, please see picture.

The sterling lid does have some shallow dents / dings.

The lid sits on top of the jar securely.
