This bolt of homespun European linen dates from the late 1800's to 1900. ~~ This wonderful fabric is hand loomed and has wonderful center stripes that are blue and a rare pink tone! The pink stripe is darker on the underside of the fabric!! ~ The tone of this bolt is a pale, cool creamy natural tone. This fabric is a heavy weight linen, wonderfully nubby and slubby!!~ Nice and floppy too! A lovely plain weave fabric that is textural, but also smooth and soft. Ideal for window treatments, table runners, pillows etc! ~*~ ~ Wonderfully high quality. I love knowing these linens were grown without the use of pesticides, just lovely natural fabric. ~*~ *~ ( EL38 )
MEASUREMENTS : I am selling this length by the yard so each quantity will measure about 20.5 inches wide by 1 yard long. If you would like to receive a longer, continuous length simply increase the quantity and you will receive one long, uncut piece. For example, if you need 3 yards for your project, simply change the quantity to 3 and you will receive a length of fabric measuring 20.5 inches wide by 3 yards long.
CONDITION : This gorgeous textile is in as found, unwashed condition. There are some pale blue bleeds from the dye here and there on this bolt so it should probably be dry cleaned to prevent more bleeding. These marks usually will only appear on one side of the bolt. There are a few small storage marks on this length which may or may not wash fully. If retailer any of this is important to your project please email prior to purchase! Overall lovely, sturdy condition!
