Gudrun Nilsson Sweden c1970 Berry Series Scandanavian Pottery retailer

This lidded pot by artist Gudrun Nilson (born in Sweden in 1932) is hand thrown and hand glazed. It is from his Berry series. It is fully signed on the base and has the artist's chop mark on the side bottom.

It is titled Bla Bar on the base, meaning Berry in Swedish.

This is one of his large berries, it measures 3 5/8 inches across and retailer stands 3 1/8 inches high.

Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. It dates from the late 1960s to early 1970s.

Ideal as decorate storage container or as a standalone piece of decorative art.
