Large antique French hand loomed linen sheet with hand embroidered monograms LL in red on top of the sheet
Early 1900s

Dimensions of the sheet: 99.2 inches long (2m48) and 80 inches wide (2m)
Dimensions of the 2 monograms together: 8 inches high (20cm) x 10.8 inches wide (27cm)

The linen sheet is in a white tone
Linen is cool to the touch in summer and warm in winter
Machine washable, it becomes softer after every wash
With fibres of a great strength and durability, much stronger than cotton

The sheet is handloomed, hence the seam in the middle as the loom only had a certain width

On top in the middle of the sheet there are hand monogrammed letters, which look like LL to me, with leaves and dots hand embroidered in red with tiny stitches
