Vintage Brass Pestel and retailer Mortar

retailer This is pre owned and used. 4" side to side at rim. 3 1/2" deep. There is age patina on the metal. There is use wear on both pieces. There is a hole in the metal, 3/4" from the bottom and looks like it was made this way and is some type of flaw. There is also a flaw on the bottom of one handle. Metal is unbranded.
